Stereo mode, no bass.

Hi, I listin to music using PLII Music, but apparently using this really just ruins the music and makes it nothing like how it was before, so I would like to use Stereo but the problem is, stereo has hardly any bass :confused:

Anyone have any idea?

I have the sub on half, does PLII Enhance the bass so there is more than really needed so I am just use to too much bass?

what speakers are you using? Z5500's?

Yep the Z5500's, still got it set to 5.1 in X-Fi control panel but using Optical so I dont think it matters.

dude, do not combine any EAX/CMSS effects on the X-fi with anything other than 6 Channel Direct on Direct input on the Z5500's otherwise it sounds rubbish. If you're using optical, i suggest setting it to Stereo x2 on your speakers and leave CMSS/EAX etc OFF in the X-fi control panel.... also press the "Level" button on your Z5500s so you view the Sub level and turn it down to 3 bars only. 5 Bars (Half/Standard) is bass overkill.

I never use CMSS3D or Crystilizer unless I am in crappy game mode and in games, I dont like stereo 2x tho, I just use Stereo, I am surprised 4bars and the + is bass overkill, I always thought it was not enough bass

, guess Its just me used to lots of bass lol, on stereo I always have it at 6 bars and I am in a corner too.
