I can't remember the last time I heard a V8 that sounded rubbish.

Even the V8 powered parcel vans in the USA sound good.

Ive heard a lot and i mean a lot of V8s that sound rubbish.
You come from england where people drive shopping trollys a lot, i come from Australia where people Drive barges a lot.

I don't understand how a monaro can sound crap.

Whether it was altered or not when they had it on top gear it sounded amazing. (The VXR even better).

You could also get a niec V8 M5 as well you know but somehow I don't see you in a BM :p

Nice Omega ;).

Seriously though, cool car, everyone will ask you what it is, it'll sound like thunder and it's mega practical. Of course it won't handle like an M5 but coming from a Jeep...

They dont really sound all that thunderish though.

well.. I am back!

I love it. I love it like a mistress!

Sorry Fox et all, a BMW will never adorn my drive, no matter how good they are. I just cannot get past the damn ugly looks. YES I know the scooby aint Claudia Schiffer, but to me its better than the BMW.
Not a great fan of the Holden/Monaro either.

Took the car for a good LEGAL ;) hoon around some back roads round here, its handling really IS that good, I got out of the car grinning like a mental patient.

It has a RAC Tracker installed, and as its a dealer only owned car its not yet registered.

I had a quote of £621, but that was not specifying the tracker, so I guess it would be cheaper!
I guess thats what comes of being nearor 40 than 30 :(

Omega looks to have a slightly shorter wheelbase? Perhaps it's just my imagination. I might have to look up some specs.

The Commodore is probably longer. They are reasonably HUGE!!!

The scary thing is that they have an even longer luxury model coming out this year. The 2 new ones are so lardy its not funny any more
