I've lost my backplate for Corsair A70 cooler and was wondering what glue would be best for sticking the heatsink to the processor, I was looking at 30 minute epoxy or would super glue be the better option?
I guess the glue would have to be heat resistant as I understand those processors get hot. I am also fed up of my computer shutting down due to overheating as my current stock cooler just isn't up to the job as it aint got a fan on it, something else I lost.
I have tried increasing tjmax to 200c to force the computer to stay on but I think the temps are exeeding even this.
I did once try water cooling by tipping a pint of iced water through the fan grill on top of my case but this caused loads of problems so water cooling is out.
Have a good day everyone.
