I recently came in to the posession of a SELOC Motorsport windscreen sticker for my car (OK I bought one) and am in two minds about whether to fit it. The last time I considered putting a sticker on a car I was 18, the car was a Renault 5 Campus and the sticker was a rather large Kenwood one. In the end I decided against it and the sticker proudly adorned the back of my friends Metro GTi for a couple of years.

I'm currently favouring fitting the sticker as:
  • I'm taking part in the SELOC Sprint series this year
  • It advertises SELOC
  • I think it looks good

On the down side:
  • It could look a bit Chav
  • Could affect visibilty
  • I'm bound to get it wonky
  • I'd have to wash my car before I could fit it

Comments & opinions appreciated and if a passing Don could make this a poll that would be great.

I would if it was just the white bit but the yellow part could be on the border of your vision. A tint to the top of the screen is usefull but only the very top.
Cut off the yellow text?

iirc from my few elise test drives that was the bit of the window i used to see where i was going

is there any way you could leave it off for day to day motoring and put it on for the events?

Elise = YES YES YES in a screaming orgasm fashion.

Elise + Sticker = Just plain and simple, No.

Now all you need down the side is your normal chav shopping list

Bread
Milk
Eggs
Butter
Toilet Roll

etc, etc

:D

I think that sunstrips on an Elise/VX are a great idea seeing as they don't have sun visors, however I don't like the style of that particular one, personally I'd just go for a smoke tinted one.

I for some reason came back to the thread, looked at the picture and thought it was his even though I know it isn't lol. Never mind.

Don't even think about getting some go-faster stripes like that Elise

Wow, i like it, lots, it makes your car look like an actual racing car rather than a go kart (sorry, im not a fan of elise's, i have no idea why) But yea, to me that sticker makes a lot of difference, the car really pulls it off.

Well I decided to ignore the nay sayers and go for it and here are the results.
