Still having a hardware issue....

I used to have an issue where my pc would randomly turn off while gaming and restart...getting a new bundle from here seemed to fix that but now i keep having another issue...

While gaming my monitor will randomly go into standby and one of my graphic cards goes to 100% fan and i can still hear the music playing in the background and everything but i cant get the picture back on untill i turn the pc off and back on....iv checked the temps and they seem fine so does anyone have an idea what this might be?
 
yeah its overclocked. im running a crossfire setup and they have both been overclocked since the day i got them but iv never had any issues like this till lately.
Iv been reading around and some seem to be saying it could also be a PSU issue and i still have the crappy brand psu that i got with the pc a few years ago.
 
Wait for someone else to chine in first but may be worth downclocking your card or trying them individually

Do you have a PSU you could borrow off a friend to test?
 
what psu are you using atm? make and wattage?

id pick yourself up a good quality xfx psu and take it from there
