Still low fps in NFS Shift:(

Hi guys,

Just bought NFS:Shift and my framerate is in the 30s at 1080p, 4xAA, full detail with no motion blur or rear mirror (dont like em LOL). I know the game had issues with crossfire but I thought it was fixed in the latest patch. I have the cats 9.11s dirt 2 hotfix drivers installed. Any ideas? Spec is in sig.

i thought the issue was on EA's part ?...not the crossfire but the bad frame rate with ati cards in general.

Oh, I thought it was a sli/crossfire problem. So I should be getting higher framerate then?

How on Gods earth do you quit when playing this game? Either I have gone blind, or stupid, or both... but there does not seem to be any quit option at all. I can however keep restarting the race over and over but I want to QUIT GAME dammit. :mad:

Has anyone else had this issue?

A quick google shows that some ppl have had this issue and apparently it's only for the first few levels, is this the case?

Oh but on topic, the game runs awesome maxed out.

The 9.12's will also have improvements for Shift, but they ain't released till next Wednesday, however the Shift/Hemlock driver (9.12 betas) which showed quite an improvement in it was leaked, so you could try that in the meantime (only the Rapidshare link works now).

Need for Speed SHIFT PC Game Expansion Pack and Patch 1.02
Patch 1.02 includes five new cars (Toyota Supra Mk IV, 1967 Shelby GT500, 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, 1969 Dodge Charger R/T and the 1971 Dodge Challenger R/T). There is a new game mode called Team Racing which pits Team Red vs Team Blue in an intense battle for track domination. The maximum number of racers in an online game is increased from 8 to 12.

Its both EA and ATi really

EA released the patched which is a minor improvement and the 9.12 drivers from ATi are supposed to be more significant but I still don't expect anything amazing
