Still no adsl ffs!

6 weeks its been! now oranage say my line is fine???? wtf. Tho the guy on the phone (english yay) said it could be BT answer 1571 causing the problem, and as im not home for a while i cant test if that is a true problem.

IS this guy fobbing me off as im about to cance this crap isp.

BT Answer works fine with BB.

Did he explain what he meant by that? I have 1571 and ADSL with no problems, as many people do.

What problems are you having - no service whatsoever? You can't sync your modem/router at all?

lcp is allowed to come up and sometimes it says lcp down.

Basicly it wont connect, the routher is un toughed and worked fin in my old adress.
And yes it has keept the same details.

Update: an engineer is comming tuesday.

"LCP is allowed to come up" is meaningless - does the DSL light stay off, or flash or whatever?
