Still using Open Desire 1.4 which to goto

So still running OD1.4 on my HTC Desire, I know that its now on 3.5.

But OD still one of the best ones? Or should I be looking at other ones?

why not just do a nandroid backup and then try a few for yourself. what might suit others may not suit you.

I thought about doing that, but interested to hear peoples opinions. I have looked on XDA Devs, but very hard to get opinions where most rom threads are 100's pages long.
