if it is a deep gash and doesn't look good in the morning then maybe get it looked at - check NHS website/phone 111 tomorrow daytime and find a minor injuries unit...

or just get some superglue and do a DIY job on it :p

Ouch!

I put a box cutter through my hand a few months ago, I did not go to A&E.

Not half as much blood as my hand so I think you safe. ;)

Clean pull it together and tape it up, be good as new in a few weeks.

You have to wonder how we survived for thousands of years without A&E!

Nah,Just take it easy for a day or two..bandage it up.

I had a similar cut (not that long but still deep) on my ankle when some cleaver clogs put a broken plate into a bin bag (which i picked up the bin bag to put out) it swinged as i picked it up and hit me in the ankle..i never felt a thing until my sock felt wet..blood. :D

But no way was i going to wait in A&E.

Wish you a speedy recovery. :)

I stood on a broken jam jar which went through (literally) my foot and I'm still alive.

Although at least with your paper cut you'd be more suited to A & E than the numerous people there with sniffles.

I'd get it looked at by a doc if it hasn't stopped bleeding in a day or so.

Will be ok, just approximate the wound, use plasters bandage and take it easy on it for a few days.

if that's your heel, umm that's a tiny little cut, you big girlyman! yeah stings like crazy there i bet ouch. keep it bandaged up with pressure and keep it raised up above your heart. if still bleeding in 24 hours, off you go to AnE. no aspirin.
