Was 150 yds from OCUK - now 0.5 mile; they moved
The thieving scum round by me have stolen my motorbike.

I had a Yahama FZR which was gone from my house when I woke up today.

If I find them I will kill em!

So angry!

Hopefully the police will find it abandoned and undamaged on a local sink estate. At least the thieving ***** can't burn it out, like they did to a friend's car.

The bike was on my driveway, do not have a garage - just moved house

Planned to cut a hole in the wall to back garden and have a gate fitted (house on the end) but as onyl moved 3 weeks ago - not done it yet

Never had a motorbike, but always wondered about how hard it would be to secure it :(

Well, the bike had a large chain strapped thru the wheel, so either taken on a trailor (doubtful) or cutters were used, and the bike must have been pushed (also had a steering column lock on the front wheel)

I thought maybe 2/3 people putting it in the back of a van would have been likely.

Have you spoken to the police/your neighbours yet?

Sorry to hear about the bad news :(

Shame that you've only moved 3 weeks ago. Probably been eyeing up the bike since you moved in.

Yes the police were a waste of time.

Neioghbours didn't see anything - bike was still there at 2am today though - gone at 8am when I got up!

The police won't do much about it - waste of time imo

How much is it worth?

£1800 there abouts - is fully comp insured though

It's not the bloody point though - it's the lack of respect for MY things.

I thought it would be pretty safe, a guy down the other end of my road has a bike which sits on his drive too - his is still there

Mm, i know it's not the point but i'm curious as to why they went to all that effort on a bike of that worth. I mean, you said it was quite protected and whatever but if the bike was worth x4 that, it would have been more of a target. Just very unlucky! :(

srry to hear that mate - i had two motorbikes (well err....mopeds) stolen from me. one was chained up outsie the front of my house, they just picked it up and took it away. next time i chained it in the back yard; they took the gate off its hinges, used it as a ramp and again wheeled it away. didnt really care about the value as they werent worth much but such a pita to sort out.
