I was in Bristol last weekend - and will be there again in another few weekends, gonna be in Stratford/Warwick area for the next two weekends though I'm afraid

I just seem to have a natural ability to be busy when there are meets
maybe i need to check out the calendar in future

I'll make you a deal. You make the effort to get down to Bristol from Warwick for the meet and I'll make the effort to come over from Oxford.

I'll be taking a terrible risk though. It means leaving the gf to paint the lounge.
