In my infanite wisdom today the weather is nice its time to get rid of a few stonechips the bonnet.
Primer on left it till rock hard. Came back put on the colour match, what happens : I got disstracted, and the pen rolled down the bonnet still open, about 45ml of paint went splat! I quickly filled my pants at this stage.
Ran into the kitchen, mixed up CIF cold water, and got a light abrasive sponge and got to work. After 30 mins of light scrubbing 99% of it was gone. After few hours I managed to get rid of it all.
There is an extremely light blemish on the front that can only be seen from a certain angel, it must have already been there as the rest of my rubbing left no marks.
Car is now perfect again, I feel if I had left it more than 10 mins I would have buggered. Done the chips now so she now looks good. But moral of the story is to take time, It has to be at least an 7/10 on the brown trouser factor when it happened.
