Actually I have never had a DPD delivery come outside of the given hour window. Depends on the driver and where you live and of course unforseen traffic conditions.

Motherboards are live, CPU's will be live around midnight Sunday.

Unfortunately thats the rules as dumb as it might seem. :(

Thats just stupid, intel really screwed up tbh. I've spotted the cpu's going on sale for pre-order in a few places but none of them are what I'd call "reputable retailers" so i'd never buy from them. They must be getting in alota cash though.

From what I've read it wasn't Intel fault at all but Asus that gave the go ahead to start selling.

Asus? Why asus? Intel were the ones that rushed the NDA forward and screwed over the industry.

Bit-Tech are claiming at this is a paper launch and pointless. Saying that intel have pushed the industry forward unexpectedly and as a result none of the retailers are ready to actually supply the chips. This is why the mobo's have been launched but the chips havn't. At least, that was my understanding that legaly they can be sold now. Well thats what bit-tech seemed to suggest.

Good to see you are going to do the overclocked bundle from the 9th too. From all those mobos listed I've no idea which clocks the 2600K the best which is why I'm awaiting prices on those.

Any chance of 4.5GHz+ please (seen 4.8GHz on a few reviews) ? :cool:

For the record the whole 9th of January NDA lifting has annoyed me becuase it is in fact the 10th. The NDA is in place until midnight of Sunday so all the "available on the 9th" is mumbo jumbo. It should all read 10th since we can't buy or pick up anything until then.
