I was just formatting and doing a fresh install and put my drivers that i'll need after win7 install on my internal 1tb storage drive.
For some reason when win7 installs it puts the bootmgr on the storage drive instead of my SSD because its on DISK0 so I unplugged my storage drive after powering down then re installed win7 etc etc. The usual.
Then once entering win7 and going to my storage drive, it now Says g:\ is not accessible Access is denied.
It's not a permissions problem as the drives Capacity in properties shows 0bytes used and free and as RAW format. But the drive is still intact.
In disk management It shows it as NTFS and even names the storage drive what it was named as before which was "stuff" It also states the free disk space which is 200gb so normal stuff. I can even use a file recovery tool to browse the files on it but the god darn thing won't allow me access in windows explorer!
It's asif the boot or whatever is needed for a storage drive to function has gone. I'm recovering what I can now and getting some errors that some parts are inaccessible on the file recovery and also MFT errors.
