Who has been affected by it so far? My wife has texted me saying that our complete fence is down. Iv been meaning to replace it this year as it was starting to rot, but i just don't have the spare cash at the mo. Hey ho...

Couple of roof tiles unseated but no big deal. Would be my house though wouldn't it. I notice my neighbours roof tiles are fine. :(

Electric cables down outside my house apparently, electric at work was flickering on and off this morning so made the decision to run on Generator all day :)

More than just me with Power problems though:

neighbours fence is down and in our garden..

bins flying all over the place, other than that nothing much.

it is windy here! doris has been blowing pretty hard today.

I had to take the netting of the boys trampoline ffs

uhh, other than that no. A tree did come down in the next village, ended up on top of a range rover driving past at the time. Lucky the driver wasnt injured.

Went to do a job in Bristol, on the way back and now im stuck in Gloucester on the train due to a falling tree. While everyone in my Birmingham office has been sent home early

I havn't, was lovely here this morning (Houghton-Le-Spring, Nth East), sun was blazing, hardly a breeze, then around half 12ish, wind got up, went dark, started sleeting/raining, then about an hr later it eased off, as did the wind, now its just dark, raining, bit breezy.

Every single major storm I wonder if it'll be the one that finally destroys our neighbours car port, as he hasn't done any maintenance on it for 10 years and half the plastic roofing is cracked and flaps about due to missing screws/damaged plastic around them whilst the wood is visibly rotten.

So far we've not had anything major, the bird feeders have blown over and there are a few branches down, but nothing serious.

Also am I the only one who keeps thinking of 4t5? :(

Woman killed in town, my usual route home closed due to an accident, couple of roads around home closed due to fallen trees, not aware of any damage to the house/garden yet but I suppose that'll be a nice surprise when I get home/if I make it home without being blown into a ditch.

oh god, last time we had a bit of wind the clip on our guttering broke. Never got round to fixing it. Dreading going home tonight.
I have visions of the entire thing hanging down lol

If this wasn't all over the news I would have just thought this another rainy day that was a bit blustery. Leeds and Huddersfield have both felt just a bit rubbish, but certainly not "amber alert!" windy. Didn't even knock over my bins.

Saw 2 women in Canary Wharf get blown over and whilst not seriously hurt, still were flung hard off their feet. Looked like someone did a force push on them. At one point I was being pushed along by the wind at quite an alarming rate.
