Storm in Reading

Anyone else in the surrounding area's getting it?

We are getting hail stones, HUGE downpours and a whole load of lightning and thunder... Watching it for the last 15 mins, some of the lightning strikes are a mere mile or so from the house!

Trying to capture the strikes on video is hard

Just got in from driving through it, roads are pretty much flooded in areas!

Well, it has been going on for about a hour now, lightning for about 30 mins. So you will prob get it soon, clouds are starting to thin now and light coming through.

1 Huge 20min period here and bit of thunder but thats it, i'd love an epic thunder storm.

Storm has now passed, started at 15:44 and just finished at 17:05.... What a wonderful spectacle, sirens now going off, dogs barking, drips and drabs from drops around the place and that gorgeous smell after a storm.

That was a lot of fun, took the dog for a walk in it earlier. Heart was racing, felt like a kid breaking the rules

There's a bit of an Easterly blowing here - I think the storm could come over to Bristol (after this one we seem to be in currently...!)

Hehe, when I text my girlfriend just as the storm started she said it was nice and sunny in slough.
