Was just about to pop out for the evening paper but on glancing out out the window the rain was coming down at a phenomenal rate at what seemed a 45 degree angle. Then a bolt of lightning and a clap of thunder, then more.

Bring it on.

As soon as it hit 2pm, the heavens opened here in Burnley/Nelson. It's been really bad here past couple of weeks though.

Edit: Stopped raining for the past half an hour, but the clouds are still black as night.
