Strange 3570k temps...

My are load: between 54-65. ALl is working well.

65C is safe under load, but i still wouldn't want to see mine reach that temp (probably because i'm used to seeing lower)... Even my brothers 125W AMD Phenom II 965 runs cooler than my 3570K at stock speeds .

To be honest, i'm not all that impressed with Ivy Bridge so far... The only benefits i see are PCI-E 3.0 and official DDR3 1600 support (which don't amount to much at the moment). I've not noticed any performance increase over an i5 2500, just higher (and uneven) temps

My i7 920 is 54-59c. Guess they did a bad heat paste on it too. :(

If that's under load then i'd say those temps are great for a 1st gen i7 ;)

Yeah, that at 96-100% on all cores/threads. Was originally OCed for 67-70c on NH-U12P SE1366. Got my Phanteks & 3 fans for my U12P and £20.... couldn't turn it down. Expecting 980 to arrive like now for upgrade. And won a white braiding kit to fancy things up.. Thanks BuToNz that should be here tomorrow.

IIRC Phenem II X4 965 are only good to 55c max. Wife's Athlon II X4 620 @ 3.6GHz @ 46c Prime
