GF insured her car online about 10 months ago but can't remember who with!!

Whats the best way to find out who shes insured with?

grow a brain? :D

seriously though, she must have the paperwork somewhere, if not then why don't YOU know who's she's with

lol.....I honestly dont know. How do you forget who your insurer is? Ask a police patrol car to check for you i guess.

That is quite possibly the most stupidest thing i have heard all day.

I'm not sure who keeps records of insurance, possibly the dvla? Otherwise ask a copper as suggested above.

Quite a lot are paperless now, you print your docs as needed. You don't ever use paper docs now.

Have a crash with someone, refuse to give details and wait for the impending doom to drop through the letterbox, amongst which will probably be info on her insurer. Jobs a goddun.

Can she check her bank statements to see if there is any info on where payments went to??

I'm pretty sure you have to have a written document somewhere as proof of contract?

What would you do if you were given a producer :/

Really? What companies is that with? Could be useful. Both of my parents policies were online with different companies yet rec'd paperwork likewise a lot of my friends.

Could be handy to know who does this for future reference.

AFAIC, I believed you had to sign and return (as well as hold one copy for yourself) a contract?
