Strange ANNOYING problem.

i was going to say, the time you receive it, resend it back if you can it the postage would almost cover the cost of the card.

seriously why are you wasting money on an obsolete gfx card? sell it and buy an ATI that you knows works in your system.

Because i have a 480GTX in storage that i cant get access to right now because the storage of my property has been arranged by the council and they wont let me take any of my property out untill they get me a permanent house wich im hoping will be within this year ,im not rich and i paid £200 for that card ,all i wanted was something to get me by untill i get a house. I dont want to buy a new one when i already paid £200 for a good one and the 9800GT used to work on the motherboard then just stopped working so obviously theres a fault,im not keeping a faulty motherboard. If you check the links i posted above you will see its not just me who has this problem, other people are having the exact same issues with much newer cards so i think im entitled to a replacement motherboard. I dont want to buy something like a 6850 only to find out later on that my perfectly working 480GTX doesnt work in the motherboard because i ignored the fault it obviously has.

i was going to say, the time you receive it, resend it back if you can it the postage would almost cover the cost of the card.

Yes,and it has sickend me to my stomach. It's not my fault asus sold me a faulty product. The behaviour of the motherboard has made it appear to be the graphics card at fault when in actual fact it is the motherboard,so i think ASUS should be paying my £23.50 back for the RMA on a perfectly good graphics card.

BTW,left my battery out of the motherboard all night and unplugged all power connectors and tried it again this morning, still no joy. im very very worried about RMA'n the board because i dont want overclockers to try another card in it and say "oh we tested it and it works". It works with other cards and doesnt work with my card, others have the same problem as me so i dont think testing it with another card is going to be conclusive proof that it works, also, what the hell will asus do when they plug in another card and see it working? they will think the board works and not give me a new one? im very stressed out about the whole situation,i wish this had happened sooner so that overclockers could have outright swapped my motherboard for me. Feel like throwing it out of this 11th floor window tbh.

Well i thought i figured it out but i didnt......I ended up buying another P8Z68-V from somewhere else because i had a discount voucher and some extra cash and was going to RMA the seemingly faulty board back to overclockers and just sell the replacement on to my cousin. It seemed to work for a day and then i got the same issues again with my replacement so it cant be the motherboard, the chances of 2 boards being faulty is pretty low so i've returned the replacement back to the store under the DSR since i bought it online(they let me bring it back to the store with a printout of the receipt) and got a refund.

So now im in the process of getting overclockers to accept the whole system back so they can diagnose it for me because its just became silly now and i cant waste anymore time with something that doesnt work:mad:
