Strange Brigade

Saw Mack review this, it's from the Sniper Elite devs so worth a punt. I might give it a go next month, spent a fair bit this one.

Pretty much same old same old once you have completed the first level. Puzzles are very easy and an insult to puzzles, most collectibles are relatively easy except for the cats in later levels which simply refuse to appear, a bug maybe? My biggest grip[e is bosses, though not particularly difficult I did find that I had the wrong weapon when taking on the final couple and working out when they are vulnerable can be very hit and miss.
Not got a clue why Rebellion priced this at 40 quid as it will be bargain basement in no time at all.

I would have balked at paying full price but having got it with my Vega I find I'm loving it.

Admittedly I'm old and my competitive days are well behind me, so a fun co-op game is pretty much all I want!

At a tenner I'll buy it, it looks simple to me and as another poster said it is not that hard I will wait for it to drop in price.
As I got a lot of games to play.

That does look like a fun game, good reviews on Steam as well.

What's the single player aspect like?

So far I've spent 8 or 9 hours in the single player campaign and I'm really enjoying it. Definitely one of my favourite titles this year, that said I got my copy free in an AMD bundle and having now seen the price, especially of the season pass it's too much. Good game though.

I started playing with one of my mates tonight, Only done two missions but it was fun. We'll probably smah through the campaign and put it down.

Is the single player actually a narrative story, or is it just a series of maps to play through?
