MY 2 7970's and both stopped displaying images at the same time, could it be any thing other than dead cards?

i have tried one at a time, both at same time and nothing, when testing with a 5850 i get image fine :confused:
i cant have done nothing and killed 2 cards can i?

last thing i did was exit BF4 and shut down pc, today i go to boot up and nothing
 
use the 5850 and boot into safe mode.. download DDU and in safe mode, uninstall ALL NVIDIA and AMD drivers and shutdown.

Reset the BIOS before doing anything via taking out the CMOS battery and leaving it a few minutes. Put the battery back in, stick in one 7970. You should have an image now.

If you do, install the latest drivers then shutdown. stick in the other 7970 and enable crossfire :p

If not, reboot with the other 7970 in.

This will rule out one or both cards as dead.
