Strange graphics problem when on CS:S. Any clues? Direct x9 problem?

This happens in all games, it seems to stretch the scenery. BTW: Not my pc. Got the latest Catalyst drivers and tried other versions with the same problem.

And if it is not overclocked, then try setting them lower than stock as looks like the core might be starting to give out.

Looks like your memory on the card is clocked to high or dying. Try lowering the speed of the video memory.

Right, It wasnt a core problem, its not overclocked. I reinstalled DX9.0C and the problem seems to have gone. When i looked closer, the scenery was stretched in places allowing you to see through it. Thanks for the ideas, if it happens again, this may be what it requires. I originally thought it was on overheating problem.

Glad to hear you got it sorted, at least when things like this happen and you find the fix you can use it in the future if it happens again.
