strange h/d question.

hi all,i have this stange problem or what ever you want to call it with my main h/d c:

i dont have a lot on it but it shows 4gb free from a 80gb partition.

i have been looking at the folders and the biggest file i have is steam 7.54gb.

i dont have a clue what is taking all my h/d space up.

i have looked at each folder and there are only 2 that are over 1gb...windows and steam.

where is all my h/d space gone ?

is system restore taking up a big chunk? i gained 200Gb on a 1Tb drive by turning it off

This is a common problem people have. Check this first.

Try runnin CCleaner to get rid of your temporary files and things. It's amazing how much can acumilate.

Its a bit of a long shot but it might be worth doing an error check on the drive.

try this little bit of software
Spacemonger

it will show you a map of your drive and what it taking up all the space.

system restore was taking up quite a bit.

that software is pretty good m8.

managed to clear 25gb of space now thanks to you 2.
