Strange Hard-drive?

I made earlier posts about Hard-drive hanging and what not, I got advised to download HD tune and run a few tests and what not.

I've been running the Error scan and while doing this, this is the only time that my hard-drive is not spiking as I've got the program running side by side with my resource monitor.

The hard-drive seems to be very consistent, but the second I stop running the error scan or trying to recover bad sectors through windows tools, it starts to spike left right and centre, I really do not know what the heck is going on, I'm pretty sure the HDD is dying or whatever?

Without the error, while doing tests etc.

With the spikes/hanging, etc.

I hope the HDD I've ordered that is coming tomorrow fixes this problem, because I'm pretty stumped.

It's just being hanging an awful lot lately, I thought it was because I installed new hardware and that may be causing the problem, but there is nothing wrong with the hardware at-all, it is all perfect.

I'll download this Seagate thingy now, and post the results.
It's like the HDD is dying or something I'm not sure why or how, I've never even really touched the HDD and well this only started happening after I installed my new hardware.

But even after removing my new hardware and putting my old hardware back into it, I was still getting faults. (faults being = hangs/lagging/serious lagg spikes/unable to do anything while it was lagging/internet slowing down and so on)

I can only iterate the above. Running the manufacturers diagnostics tools will certainly show any errors with the drive in question and simplifies the RMA process if it's still applicable.

Download and run estool. This will check the health status of your hdd.

I'm a little confused on what I should be running (test wise) what is "estool" ?

Because thus far, I have gone through all of the tests and they have all passed so far, x.x

Well I'm not sure if it's still eligable for RMA'ing but I've got my new 2TB HDD arriving today, so I'll just install that and see where things go from there, HOPEFULLY it'll fix any and all problems, if not, i'm going to set this rig on fire and have a blast.

Installed the new hard drive and thus far it has not had any hanging issues but while in the Resource monitor via: task manager it looks as if the hard-drive is spiking, yet again.
