strange issue - is this normal?

I have a Asus VE247H 24" Widescreen LED Multimedia Monitor. Since upgrading to a Gtx 670 connected via DVI I have noticed that there is a small bacl border, only a couple of pixels wide between the displayed screen and the bezel.

Is this normal?

I thought it might be something to do with over/under scan but that has not changed anything. I can't say if it was or wasnt there before and my google foo appears to be very weak regarding this.

Are you sure it wasn't there before?

Small black border around display - GPU problem?

I don't think I've seen monitors where the image is edge to edge.

Cheers for the reply I will have a read of that now. It may well have been there before, but having only just noticed it I thought I would check if it is normal. JNot long had my Gtx 670 so just checking everythings ok.

It's normal then?

It's normal from what I've seen.

I was at work when I posted and my monitor there has a thin black border.

Now I'm at home I can confirm that both monitors I'm using also have a thin black border.
