Strange issue Last Night.

This the first time this has happened. Last night when I was just browsing a forum, My windows auto switched to basic mode (gray task bar) Then My GPU temp started rising fast and fan speed hitting 63C.
What could have made this happen?

Amd HD7950 with 12.4 drivers and OC to 1000/1575. Its never happened before just really strange and looking for some input on why you think it done this.

Thanks if it happens again back to 12.3, thats if the the drivers where to blame.

That will be the WinSAT (Windows System Assessment Tool) scheduled task, where it runs the test that gives the Windows Experience Index score. Although it's strange it only happened to you last night as it's only meant to run at 01.00 every Sunday.

It caught me out once as well, I wondered what the f was happening!
