Strange issue when putting computer into sleep mode.

Essentially if my computer goes to sleep and I try and awaken it by pressing a key on the keyboard or a click of the mouse it doesn't come back on what so ever, my mouse has RGB lighting on it (gaming mouse) and it will flicker.

So essentially, I have to turn off my power surge plug sockets, turn them back on and then my PC automatically starts up and then it comes on, but when it comes back on certain settings change, i.e. the time, it's like it goes back to the default time zone the MOBO comes with.

I'm not a 100% sure what could be going wrong with it, I've not got any special settings enabled or anything. Could it be the cmos chip? I do have a spare one that I could change too if that is the problem, but I'm not 100% sure what it could be to be honest.

Time resetting sounds like the battery on the motherboard has gone. Try replacing it and see how it goes after that.

Will try this and report back, thought it may something such as that but not 100% sure as I've never experienced these kind of issues when the PC would be put into sleep mode, but I'll give it a go.
