My much loved MX518 intermittently disconnects and reconnects from my PC with the usual windows USB device disconnected and reconnected beeps. I was worried it was faulty but now i'm thinking its something else!
I have tried different ports and its no different.
Sometimes (not frequent) i have to physically unplug the device and reconnect it to kick it back into life.
Now I suspected a dying mouse but the mouse worked fine on a different machine, and a generic wired USB mouse also has intermittent problems (but different symptoms). Using a generic USB mouse the cursor goes haywire every now and again. This results in a huge crash flying in planetside 2,or me spinning like a mad thing in BF4!
Any ideas? It seems to be my PC rather than the mice at fault. Some sort of conflict or something as its intermitent?
Anyone seen anything similar?
Suggestions? I have removed all mouse software and re-installed it and it makes no difference.
Cheers
Peter
