Bonjour,
I have a corsair TX650 that's about a year and a half old now, and for about 6 months, it's been emitting a sound that's getting progressively worse as the weeks go by. It's probably nothing, but it's not like normal coil whine that I've experienced before.
It's a low pitched sound. I did a quick recording of it, tried to cut out some of the background noise, and I feel this clip represents it pretty well. You may have to put some earphones on to hear it though.
Just threw it in the public folder on my VPS to share it: http://88.150.168.175/PSU_Sound.wav
It doesn't sound very loud at all, but in person it is very audible, even when its under my desk, and very irritating too.
Any thoughts on what exactly it is? Normal coil whine or not?
Cheers guys.
