I am trying to increase the FSB on my new setup which is a DS3 mobo and E6300 with Atric Pro 7..
Now when I go into the bios and tweak the fsb a little higher, I come out and save it to CMOS and the system restarts and boots to windows..
however, for some reason, whenever I load, CPUZ or ClockGEN all I get is the standard 266 bus speed, multiplier 7, giving my 1800mhz cpu speed..
Am I not doing something correctly, if I go back into the BIOS, it has automatically changed the change cpu frequency back to Disabled..?
ive got all the BIOS version upto date, perhaps im just missing something fundemental..
