Right I'm after any help and/or suggestions.

Basically I was hoovering the hell out of my laminate flooring yesterday, we have this like wicker basket thing next to the sofa to keep remotes and TV mags in etc etc.

I basically moved it to hoover where it sat and noticed these tiny black dots on the floor, upon closer inspection they were moving and are some kind of bug but I've no idea what.

I've scoured the net and cant seem to find anything matching the description, the biggest ones are still tiny and easily less than 1mm and black in color, there are smallers ones which seem to be the youngers ones, these are much much smaller and can hardly be seen but are white/cream in color.

We clean regulary and the house is never dirty except for the usual bit of dust etc so am really curious to identify them, I thought about trying to take a phot but they are just so small.

Do we have any household insect experts or anyone with the same thing?

Thanks in advance!

Well my first thought was dust mites but like you said they cant be seen without serious magnification.

So you reckon they are just normal mites then?

I've sprayed the area and bottom of the basket with some insect killer so hopefully that will finish what the hoover didnt!!!

When I had my mite problem I ended up taking the baskets out to the garage for a few days as more bugs seems to creep out all the time, despite my murderous rampage. I sprayed it every day and after a few all was quiet. I still haven't a clue from whence they came.

I'd like you to consider that every living creature on this planet has the same rights as you to a full and happy life, free from cruelty and these little fellas are no different.

When you have considered that for a moment. Hoover up the ****** *******! :D
