Strange phone call from BFG

You can imagine my excitement when i was unwrapping this HAHA

The motherboard you see here is also being picked up by BFG on Monday and by the sounds of the phone call this morning will also be swapped for a 295 :D:D:D originally a 285 but he said 'ahh none of those in stock i may just upgrade you again'

Cannot fault BFG on there customer service with me...it may have taken the best part of 3 months to get the motherboard RMA sorted due to lack of stock on the 680i, so they sent me the 650i to tide me over and are now going to give me a graphics card for it
 
wow, BFG Certainly look after their customers.

They neeeeeeeeeeed to start selling ATi cards though ;)
 
Well that's quite pro-active of them considering they've replaced an 8800GTX with a GTX295, awesome service.

I should have held onto my GTX280 and sabotaged it. :p
 
Hmmm. They sent my old 295 back - still has the same fault.
Spoke to a bloke - maybe in Wales - says they test only the fact that the card starts up - not if it will run CUDA Apps.
Have agreed to collect it again at their cost, and read the notes on the fault log next time.

****wits.

10 years is a long time.
