Strange Printer Issues

There is a recurring problem with one my laptop set ups, it is running 2 printers and a scanner which is connected to a 3 to 1 usb connector directly to the laptop.

The printers respond on the laptop when I turn them on or off (Comes up online/offline) but when I try and print a test page nothing happens. Connected the laptop to a network based printer and it works, spoolers restarted and work fine, troubled dected no issues, but still not responding to any form of printing ?



Any Ideas ?

Install the correct driver? I had a similar issue when sharing a printer from Win7 64 bit to a 32bit pc, or the other way round. It uses the same driver as the host by default, which doesnt work. If you add it manually to a port (LPT1 etc) instead of letting it just add it by itself it should let you pick all the settings, and then work.
