Strange problem on new build

Been using laptops for a couple of years now but decided to build a cheap desktop to tinker with as I miss it.

The build is a mix of old and new stuff but all working without issue.

E6320 & Corsair H50
Antec 1200
Antec CP850 Modular psu
2x2 gig Kingston Hyper X (8500)
EVGA nForce 750i SLI ***
EVGA 640 meg 8800GTS (acs edition)
Maxtor Sata II Diamondmax 500gig HDD
LG Sata DVD-RW

Problem is that I get no power to the monitor at all. On the motherboard diagnostics it runs through the boot making the right noises and the onboard LED's stop on 7F (POSt error check - Check POST error and display them and ask for user intervention). Pressing F1 then moved the LED's onto FF, which is BOOT. So the motherboard reckons everything is ok.

So far Ive tried -
1 stick of ram at a time.
Disconnecting the HDD
Using a different GFX card (EVGA 512meg 8800GT)
Different monitor cable
Different DVI converters
Using a Pata drive rather than Sata
Tested both GFX cards in my girlfriends machine, both work fine.

Now Im out of ideas, nothing is indicating a problem but Ill be damned if I can figure it out :(

Help !

Have you tried a totally different monitor with the rig (or the monitor with a different rig)?

And,, if you haven't tried it a dozen times already, - you could try a CMOS reset.
