Strange Problem

Hi guys, wondering if anyone can help me with a bit of strange problem.

My sister has recently asked me to fix a problem with her pc. The problem is, that the keyboard on her computer works fine in the BIOS however once the windows log on screen appears it fails to function whatsoever, therefore i cant access windows whatsoever. Ive tried various other keyboards but with no luck. Im going to save some of the data on the hard drive and wipe it, but i was wondering if anybody knows a way i could resolve this?

USB or PS/2 Keyboard?

well neither will work, tried both

I have blown PS2 ports and USB ports a few times but never both simultaneously. Given that it works in the BIOS suggests a non hardware issue.

Get a USB card and try that way... shouldn't require drivers

Check BIOS for USB legacy support and toggle.
