Strange problem

I've recently installed vista and it all works fine however when i boot up it sais "no hard drive detected" you can barely read it just flashes up , but obviously it does detect the hardrive or none of my files would still be on the system ect..
anyone know the cause of this .

at a guess it's just the bios message from an additional ide/sata controller saying there is nothing connected , perfectly normal
