Well I have been pulling my hair out for around a week now. and I hope you guys can sugest or perhaps know what is going on.
I have had the colzero acyrilc parts for my corsair 900d lying around for some time. so I decided to put them in my case.
To put them all in I had to take everything out of the case.
The watercooling loop was working fine with nps I carefully took all components out of the case carefuly putting them on the side.,i then flushed them all out with distilled water and left them on the side until I had finished my case. I finishe dmy case and procded to put all of my watercooling loop back in. which I did.
I fired up windows did the upgrade to windows 10 then did a fresh install of windows. all seemed fine until I checked my cpu temp via coretemp and realtemp. omg 60-70c idle. I then installed aquasuite 2015 to check my flow. it was showing 0 liters per hour. I then felt around the cpu area my god it was hot. the actual cpu waterblock was really hot to the touch and so was the tubing.
To me this indicated that the water was not flowing around the system just hovering standing still. I took the rear side panel of and noticed the tube from the rad out to the flow meter was completely empty of water.
I went into the bios to check the pump was working it showed 4700 or so rpm so the pump was moving I sped the pump up and down via the control under the pump and still nothing.
After several drains refills . replacing the pump. adding another d5 vario. changing the cpu block still nothing. I then proceded to cut out the hardwarelabs nemisi 480 rad out and try that still the same no flow.
I then decided to go back to basics and make the loop outside of the case.
with the following components
OcUK Tech Lab - XSPC D5 Vario Pump & EK-D5 X-RES 140 CSQ Value Combo
EK Water Blocks EK-Supremacy EVO - Nickel (Original CSQ)
Hardware labs black ice nemesis gtx 480
also tried
blackice gen 2 extream 360 rad
ek waterblocks supreme hf cpu block
loop order
this is the one I tried first time.
pump rescombo out>cpu in>cpu out>rad in<rad out>pump rescombo in
when this did not work I tried the following.
pumpres out>rad in>rad out>cpu in>cpu out>pump res in.
No mater what I do I cannot get rid of the small pockets of bubbles which normaly would work themselves out and I would still get water flow. now can I get any sort of flow.
I am completely stumped any idea please. atm I'm stuck with a coolermaster cracken aio 120 cooler which isn't coping very well.
