Im wanting a counter weight like small ish juggling balls but am having difficulty finding them in leeds. What else could i use that weighs reasonably heavy but is the size of an average bouncy ball. Im using bouncy balls now but they are too light.

A black hole.

Millet? Its often used as the filling in juggling balls, and just be available via supermarkets. CousCous would also work. Only thing to remember is that your poi will be rather water absorbant, and if they get wet will start to reek after a day or two.
