Strange Request...

The gas double oven downstairs has failed and my parents want to replace it with another double oven however there doesn't seem to be much of a choice of gas ovens.

You can get single or combi but very few true gas ovens.

Have I missed anything or is this the case?

No there is a very limited choice for gas ovens now days, everyone seems to focus heavily on Electric.

Really your best bet is to pick a manufacturer that you prefer then contact a shop directly to see if they can order one or find an approved UK supplier.

Any reason it has to be gas? I've always found an electric oven and gas hob the best combo.

Darn...they've just said that they're looking at electric ovens. Anyone know how good Britannia ovens are? Specifically their double oven?
