Hi all,

As above I have a very strange issue that, oddly, I have only noticed happening since I recently got a new SIM card, although I'm not sure they are related.

Anyway, my phone seems to restart itself, often multiple times, and seems to take forever to finally reach the home screen (stuck on samsung logo for a while) at random times... It seems related to when I try to do something related to bluetooth or wifi.

For example I noticed it 3 times in 2 days when stopping at motorway service stations and disconnecting from my car bluetooth kit. It also seems to happen when disconnecting from a wifi network, but not always.

Very strange and I have had this phone since release day with no issues until now.

Hope someone can help or offer some advice, otherwise I'll be forced to try a factory reset

Thanks in advance! :)

Vodafone online chat suggest taking it into store to be checked... Not sure how well that will go considering the issue is intermittent, but will see how it goes :)

Dalvik wipe didn't help

Got annoyed with the issue today so went to vodafone... He saw it happen but all they could recommend was to try a reset/upgrade through Kies (couldn't get this working for S6 Edge though) and then next step is to send it away for repair

I did a factory reset so will see how it goes

Vodafone and Samsung were not sure on this issue so I had to send it for repair... Currently in the process of that.

I myself have narrowed this down to Wifi scanning for networks when it doesn't have any saved networks to connect to.

I thought it was bluetooth as I had a trigger to turn on wifi when disconnecting from the car bluetooth.

Vodafone / Samsung seem unable to fix this.
