Strange Squeaking noise

Hello,

When i scroll up/down pages with my mouse wheel, i can hear a little squeaking or scratching noise coming from inside the PC.This is the only time the noise is heard (when scrolling).

I've recently changed my graphics card, sound card card and added some ram so i thought this had better go in the general hardware forum as i've no idea where exactly the squeak is coming from.

Anyone else had this problem?

I forgot to mention that i moved that little plastic thingy on the hard drive over to the 'master setting' as previously was being detected as the 'slave'. Don't know if this has any bearing on the problem.

I tried reinstalling all my drivers in this order, Nforce 3--> Direct X--> Nvidia 93.71 --> x-fi xtreme gamer.

I tested the mouse scroll for squeaking at each stage and it was fine up untill i installed the graphics drivers then the squeaking started again. Does that mean it's the graphics card or the drivers?

This is frustrating! I'm not sure if i should send the card back now. The performance of the card is fine as far as i can tell, a 3dmark 2005 of 5320 with no overclocking which i believe is ok.

I'm pretty sure it is the card though, as there is no scroll squeak untill the graphics drivers have been installed. Any ideas on what i should do? It's the gainward 7600gt agp off of this site, anyone else had problems with this card?
