Strange SSD Temp Issue

I am having a really weird issue with my Samsung 830 SSD and this cannot be normal for an SSD

I have had this one a couple of years now and have never seen anything like this, I didnt even think they could reach 40c but its near enough stone cold to the touch.

If its cold to the touch then chances are its a sensor or software bug

Thats a load off my mind, I didnt know if the drive was starting to act up before going kaput lol.

Back up the data on it just in case,but it should be fine

try some other temp software and see if you get the same results, will rule out software bugs etc.

if the SSD itself is not hot then its not hitting them temps otherwise you would be able to tell my touching it

I did at the time I saw it I tried hwinfo and crystaldiskinfo and sometimes when I run them the temp goes back to normal and other times they report the same thing.
