Hey guys,
just changed the cooler on my ivy i5 3570k and getting much better temps, the old cooler was a thermaltake frio and wasn't happy with the way it sat but now i have a thermalright archon and it's great i'm temporarily using one of my old 140mm coolermaster rear case fan acting as the pull fan but plan to get another thermalright TY-141 in a couple of weeks when i have the cash

max temp with the thermaltake 78'c
max temp with the thermalright 58'c

now a little issue i have found i'm 99.9% that it's a misread but when load testing with OCCT i noticed the 12v rail was very low around 8.18v this was with the latest version 4.3.1 but it passed the test of 90mins without issue, the question is what is the best program for monitoring volts? and has anyone else noticed this with OCCT?

not sure if it will make any difference but when upgrading i left windows as is thinking it will throw a wobbly and not work but it did and (seems too) works very well but maybe this is causing the readings to be wrong? all old drivers and removed and the latest drivers are installed for everything else

below in the spoiler tag is the readings taken during the tests can someone have a look them over and let me know if there is anything wrong ect

SPOILER]

My rule of thumb is never use software to read system voltages.

If you have a multimeter use that.

good point forgot my board come with v checkpoints :D
just played battlefield and everything is fine when fully loaded, i've just never had a v reading so low before

Majorty of my boards have weird readings, one board shows the the 12v as 3v!

But if you did have voltage issues that bad you would have had issues much earlier :p

this is the first board i've bought for a very long time that wasn't an asus and the first time i have ever noticed a reading that far off i noticed about 30mins through the test and thought it must be a misread or something the fact it was still running made me think it was nothing to worry about, but thought i best check :)
