Anyone else pre-ordered this?

Loved the demo and can't wait for a little more slo-mo death tbh :>

However my pre-order still hasn't shipped :(
 
I was well looking forward to it, but after the 2nd level i got a bit bored and switched it off, haven't gone back to it since
 
The demo didn't wow me one bit, so I canceled my pre-order. Imo even the Max Payne 1 felt more polished. What really got me on the Stranglehold demo was the fact that Fat slides on everything, even a flaming melon! Stop sliding on everything you encounter! Argghhh :o
 
Mine should be here today, really couldn't decide if I wanted it but did enjoy the demo, so thought it was worth a punt.

Reminds me of the latest ctrl+alt+del comic :p

Stranglehold is a pretty good no brains shooter, and the action only intensifies the further you get into the game. It's not Max Payne standard, but it's still good.
 
ive ordered it, looks great fun. and the demo is awesome. may get a bit samey but i reckon itll be fun to have a blast between games.
 
Just pre-ordered the PS3 Collectors edition which comes with the movie on blu-ray. I think it comes out on 18th in USA so I should get it sometime next week hopefully (for some reason it is delayed in the UK till October).

I liked the demo, haven't played a game like that for a while.

Just got my copy this morning, havent had a chance to play it but am looking forward to it. Will give it a go later tonight when i get some free time.

I've done the same, I loved the demo, I think its a love it or hate it game, personally I love it!

I've found later on in the game to be extremely infuriating at points! Many a time I've been blown away by the luckiest of shots and had to re-do the same fight over and over again.

It does seem to have some really cool parts in it, but it is getting the stage where it's getting repetitive and when I randomly die just switch it off...lol :D

It's also nearly caused me to launch my controller in rage a few times! :o

herpes or bioshock your choice .....

its gettin a tad repetitive bit like bioshock and atm theres not an amazin storyline although bioshock again is farfetched although it seems abit more jawdropping action i aint got to the stage of throwing my controller yet but am gettin there my hands are freezin which is more likely the first stage lol ..... but it reminds me a tad of max pane just a few minor differences .... 3rd level now at the point with guitars .... im told its short like but still its action packd none stop shooting all the way through so far .....
 
MINOR SPOILER



The first boss was a joke, i died the first time round. But as soon as i started again i ran up the banister dual gold pistols out. Done all headshots and just before i got up the top he was dead.

Im on the second level and so far am i enjoying it, its just random fun, nothing taxing on the brain, just a game to pick up and blow poop up:)
