Strategy Games

I like to play strategy games, such as:

settlers
stronghold
civ
Sim city (2000 obviously)

Ive played a lot but im looking for something new - can anyone recommend?

Medieval 2: Total War sounds like your kind of thing, cross between RTS and CIV type games, with castle attacks like Stronghold (I loved that game). Looks awsome aswell....

What is the difference between Civilisations and AoE?

I just bought AoE III and Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, easy/fun strategy games. If anyone has anymore good strategy games list them here!

I was thinking of buying Broken Sword too, I had it ages ago and quite liked it.

definately get Anno 1701 asap. You will love it, more strategy less war. Very good for building a civilization.

WTF is wrong with all of you not one of you has mention Command and Conquer "Shakes Head" for shame.

Also Act Of War is a pretty good tactical RTS really gotta find out what units you need for different situations.
