I wanting a new strategy game to play.
I've played C&C to death and Ashes is getting boring.

i just got Company of Heroes 3 free with a CPU but i dont know if it my type of game.
i like Skirmish type rounds that's take a few hours not weeks.

i own total war and one of the war hammers.

does have 3 very good single player campaigns if your interested, id start with wings of liberty, then heart of the swarm, wing of liberty you play as the terrans, basically your human forces, tanks, aircraft and marines

currently £52.50, for a game im not 100% on im not willing to drop that much i will watch some revies though

LOL can buy it on disc for £2.. then i also need a disc drive

in a sort of order (free first) to the ones i've played recently, somethign might take a fancy :

Zero-K - Its Free based on the spring engine - another spiritual succcessor to Total Annihilation

Supreme Command : Forge alliance - i've had many an hour in this game. if online is your thing then get FAF (Forge Alliance Forever for PVP + an assortment or MODS and different PVE), my go to game - spiritual succcessor to Total Annihilation
Check out : Sanctuary: Shattered Sun - Spiritual successor to Supreme Commanded under development by some of the team who maintain FAF

i'm currently going back and finishing CnC3 Red Alert but if you dont own it your not missing anything.

Ones 've been playing recently :
Creeper World 4 - Cracking Dev :D

They Are Billions

Artificial Extinction

Demeo

Grey Goo - working back to this one and looking forward to it.

Sins of Solar Empire - theres a new one coming soon with an interesting route mechanic

Terra Invicta - possilbe to much of a slow burn

havent played recently but do own & still recomend :
A.I. War series

Hostile Waters: Antaeus Rising - possible its to old of a title for you but fond memories non the less.

Particle Fleet: Emergence - same Dev as Creep world

You also have Home world series

Dont own these played or have a variant :
something hard core : Command: Modern Operations

old school : the original "Carrier Command" https://store.steampowered.com/app/1802690/Carrier_Command/

starcraft 2 - comes highly recoemended by a lot of people but i havent really managed to get in to it, i went the supreme commander route.
