Hi,

I am using Windows Media Player to stream videos to my 360. However, some files don't play (including HD files). Is there a solution where I can play ALL types of videos, mainly HD?

I have been using TVersity but I still get the same issue?

I've not tried it (as i've got a HTPC) but i believe 'Transcode360' does what your after...looks a bit of pain to set up though, google it for more info.

have you got the latest dashboard update for your 360?

that added more support for divx, xvid etc type files

This worked for me, the vast majority of my files play after the update (compated to a pittance before).

Transcode360 does work, but its a pain in the ass, and on my PC has decided to stop working altogether. I just re-ripped my remaining non-playing files in a different codec. Just queue em up and leave overnight. :)

The 4 gig limit only seems to be an issue on certain files. I have several 8gb xvid avi files which stream seamlessly through the xbox 360.

My xbox media center seems to freeze every time its shown a folder of divx files. Bloody useless thing.
