I use TVersity to stream from my PC to my xbox360 and to my tv...but how do I do it so that I can watch stuff on my laptop?

My PC is Vista 32 bit with TVersity
my laptop is an older laptop(just reinstalled XP pro)

what software would I need on my laptop?

most importantly....what do I do? How can I get my laptop to see and to get stuff from my PC?

what steps do I do???

ok I understand that....but how do I get my laptop to see the folder??? What application do I use or how do I do it?? :(

sorry such a noob question I know...

ok let me put it another way....

If I can get this working and get my girlfriend able to watch episodes of her tv shows on the laptop whilst she is in bed then I've basically been told she would be "so gratefull" and that I'm going to "get some" tonight...so you see my urgency for some assistance here lads ;)

it's an external hard drive that stores the media files (tv shows, films etc) and I can't seem to get the laptop view it. I can get the laptop to view the PUBLIC folder in mt C drive but not the external HD...any ideas???

it's not the 360 I'm needing to connect to Wiggins, but thanks anyway

ok I can see it now on the laptop...the folder I mean, but when I click on it in the laptop it's saying "you might not have permission to use this network resource" :(

how do I change permission?
