STREET FIGHTER IV - £16.19 Pre-Purchase On STEAM - BUY BUY BUY

Some people say that the PS3 Madcatz hardware doesnt work with NVidia/AMD chipsets. This was definitely true for the PS3 TE Fightstick, but i'm not sure about the fightpad.

I was wondering if any of you could help me please?

I have lent a PS3 controller off my brother as I can't use the keyboard to play. The problem I am having is do you know of any websites or links where I can find drivers for it under xp pro 64 sp2.

I tried googling it and it seems only to be 32-bit versions of OS's or vista/windows 7 64 bit.

Can anyone help? Thanks.

How do u do Bison's special move? Hold back for 2 sec forward 2 sec and repeat + punch?

Hold back for 2 sec, then quickly fwd, back, fwd and 3xP (or 3xK whichever it is, can't remember from the top of my head)

The charge is only needed for the first 2 secs when you hold back, after that its all instant.

I think it's because you dont know whether the first attack of your combo will be blocked or not, and also there's the 'excitement' of pulling off the combo against an opponent as opposed to a training dummy.
Just try to do those combos during players matches where results dont matter, and dont rush it if thats why you keep fluffing it up.

Not only is it different in real life situations, but the chance of slight lag as well which is a defining factor in knowing if your moves will connect or get countered/blocked/reversed etc and vice versa. It's the randomness and anticipation which is fun against a real human player and not some AI training dummy.

I can do all these combos, moves etc perfectly fine on training/trials etc but as soon as i go into a game online nothing works :/

I'm having the same problem. I'm sure it's a lag problem as at times I can't even block when I should be able to. Very frustrating. :(

Also, some peeps seem to be doing things like, going from lying down to dragon punch with out even getting up first!! Is that possible or are they cheating?

I'm thinking of getting a new controller as my Logitech one seems to make me jump all the time and I'm suspect about the lag. It needs to be universal though so is the 360 one totally rubbish for SF4 or is there a better option?

ahh my usb arcade stick controller has arrived today so I can finally play online without getting utterly schooled by even the noobs (keyboard sucks for fighters)

To the above post, surely they are just doing the dragon punch as their 'wake up' and afaik it has like the highest priority of any attack
